GriefShare

GriefShare is a seminar and support group for people grieving the death of someone close. Each session includes a video seminar and group discussion. The videos feature top experts on grief recovery and real-life stories of people who have experienced losses like yours. During the small group discussion time, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a loss, learn about their experiences, and share your own.

There are also volunteer opportunities available:

  • Core Team Member
  • Seminar Facilitator

When you need someone to listen…

Everyone is, at times, on a difficult journey and needs a caring companion who will listen, empathize, and be a reminder of a caring faith community. BeFrienders is a listening ministry where trained volunteers (BeFrienders) listen with compassion to parishioners in difficult and transitional situations such as illness, loneliness, or divorce or separation, or loss of a loved one. Our parish has a team of BeFrienders trained in offering care, a non-judgmental presence, and active listening.
